Mia DeWeese is currently pursuing her BFA in dance at Marymount Manhattan College with a minor in Business Management. At Marymount, Mia has performed in repertoire choreographed by Robert Battle, Katie Langan, Pedro Ruiz, Shen Wei, Twyla Tharp, Abdur Rahim-Jackson, Jose Limon, Mark Morris, Deganit Shemy and Larry Keigwin, and she is also a member of the Marymount Manhattan College Dance Company She has performed at various venues throughout New York City including The Joyce Theatre, Merce Cunningham Studios, and Radio City Music Hall. Mia has performed with the Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet Company in their Cedar Lake 360° Installment where she was selected as a summer intensive participant, and also performed in the 2012 NYC Choreographer’s Carnival in a piece choreographed by Elizabeth Jones.
