Past Naked

“Past Naked” explores layers of presentational identity and gender, treading between innocence, twisted sexuality, rage, and confidence.  Pushing against and speeding through gender stereotypes and reactionary rage, the dancer strives to become comfortable in her own skin.

Choreographed and performed by Alisa Fendley with music by Kid 606 and The Weepies.

Presented at The Tank, The Rover Soho, and Marie-Christine Giordano’s Dance Salon in 2010.
